Parish Administrator

St Andrew's, Headington seeks a reliable, effective, and well organised Parish Administrator to support our ministry and mission within the modern catholic tradition. Strong communication skills and an eye for detail are imperative in this exciting role.

The Parish Administrator will work closely with the Vicar and other volunteers and staff to provide effective and well-organised administration. They will be responsible for communications across multiple platforms, and provide a warm, welcoming and helpful first point of contact for enquiries.

We are looking for a parish administrator who:

• has a warm, approachable and collaborative manner with a genuine desire to support parish life

• is comfortable working in a Christian environment and supportive of the church’s Christian ethos

• has strong organisational and administrative skills, with good attention to detail

• is reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality

• has excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• is confident in using technology to improve administrative processes

•  is able to use social media and online tools for effective and professional promotion, including the use of simple graphics
   

This is a part-time post of 10 hours per week, with flexible working hours to be agreed across Monday to Thursday.

The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
