Resources for you
at a time of coronavirus

The Apostle Paul reminds us that "neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39).

We have prepared for you a short booklet with resources that you might find useful at this time, to maintain and deepen your faith, to remind you that God loves you, and to ensure we remain connected to one another through our prayers.

Click here to download the booklet: link.

You may like to save this to your computer or print it out to use at home.

Copies are available in the church should you need one.

Do visit our new guide to praying at home: you will find plenty of resources to help.

Finally, here are just a selection of verses reminding us of the assurance we have in God, even at a time like this:

  • Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

  • Isaiah 12:2
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.

  • Psalm 73:24-26
You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

  • Psalm 23:1-6
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
