NOTICES :

1.  WELCOME TO GUESTS AND VISITORS.  You are invited to come to the altar rail at Communion time and to receive the Priest’s Blessing even if you have not been confirmed.  Just join in with everyone else.  We invite young children to join us there also and to receive God’s blessing.  Our crèche and Young Church are operating during the 10 am service AND we have toys and play-mats set out in the Church Room for babies and the very-young.  Help yourself!

2.  WE INVITE VISITORS AND GUESTS IN THE CONGREGATION TO THE CHURCH ROOM FOR REFRESHMENTS after the 10 am Sunday service.

3.  The Daily Office of the Church is said Monday-Friday in St Andrew’s Church.  All are welcome to come and join in this prayer every day.

Morning Prayer is at 8:30 am
Evening Prayer is at 5:00 pm (but not held on Fridays)

Please note that Morning Prayer on Tuesday 28th Oct is replaced by a Eucharist service (see above).


4.  Tea On Monday – Future meetings are on 3rd and 17th November.  We meet in the church room from 3:00 - 4:30 pm. All are welcome.

5.  Parish Christmas Cards are now available at the cost of £5 per pack of 10.
Church Calendars are available for £8 each.

6.  All Souls Day will be observed on Monday 3rd November.  There will be a Requiem at 9.30am and 7pm. Please add to the lists in church the names of the departed whom would like remembered and please indicate at which Eucharist they should be prayed for.

7. 
Remembrance – there will be two services this year.  The usual parish Act of Remembrance will take place at the 10am Sung Eucharist on 9th November.  On 11th November at 10.30am St Andrew’s School will lead a community Act of Remembrance.  Do please support both events.

8.  Ideas for music at St. Andrew's :
The musical life at St Andrew's Church is embarking on an exciting new phase. We are looking for singers and musicians of all ages, who would like to be part of our new plans.
Under the leadership of Richard Bennett, the Director of Music at St. Andrew's, we are looking to set up 4 new groups :
A Youth Choir
A Church Choir
The St Andrew's Singers
The St Andrew's Players

9. Community Food Bank -  
Donations can be placed in the boxes outside the church room.  Volunteers are needed to take food to Hollow Way on a Tuesday.  Please speak to Fr Darren or a churchwarden.
