10:00 am     Solemn Eucharist & Blessing of the Easter Garden, followed by an Easter Egg Hunt.



1.  WELCOME TO GUESTS AND VISITORS.  You are invited to come to the altar rail at Communion time and to receive the Priest’s Blessing even if you have not been confirmed.  Just join in with everyone else.  We invite young children to join us there also and to receive God’s blessing.  Our crèche and Young Church are operating during the 10 am service AND we have toys and play-mats set out in the Church Room for babies and the very-young.  Help yourself!


3.  The Daily Office of the Church is said Monday-Friday in St Andrew’s Church.  All are welcome to come and join in this prayer every day.

Morning Prayer is at 8:30 am
Evening Prayer is at 5:00 pm (but not held on Fridays)

4.  Lent at St Andrew’s –
Lent Appeal – we shall be supporting Oxfam’s work in Syria and amongst the Syrian refugees. There will be a basket on the literature table each Sunday and also collection boxes are available. It was a great pleasure to welcome Hannah Davies from Oxfam to our 10am service on Sunday 6th April, when she provided an update on Oxfam's work supporting Syrian refugees.

6.  Palm Sunday 13th April – please remember that the Liturgy of the Palms and the Procession to church begins in the grounds of the Parish Hall at 10am. If you are not able to join the procession then please gather in the church room and we will all enter church together.

7.  A.P.C.M. – the annual church meeting will be held on Sunday 27th April,

8.  Ideas for music at St. Andrew's :
The musical life at St Andrew's Church is embarking on an exciting new phase. We are looking for singers and musicians of all ages, who would like to be part of our new plans.
Under the leadership of Richard Bennett, the Director of Music at St. Andrew's, we are looking to set up 4 new groups :
A Youth Choir
A Church Choir
The St Andrew's Singers
The St Andrew's Players
