1.  WELCOME TO GUESTS AND VISITORS.  You are invited to come to the altar rail at Communion time and to receive the Priest’s Blessing even if you have not been confirmed.  Just join in with everyone else.  We invite young children to join us there also and to receive God’s blessing.  Our crèche and Young Church are operating during the 10 am service AND we have toys and play-mats set out in the Church Room for babies and the very-young.  Help yourself!


3.  The Daily Office of the Church is said Monday-Friday in St Andrew’s Church.  All are welcome to come and join in this prayer every day.

Morning Prayer is at 8:30 am
Evening Prayer is at 5:00 pm (but not held on Fridays)

4.  Tea On Monday – Future meetings are on 1st and 15th December.  We meet in the church room from 3:00 - 4:30 pm. All are welcome.

5.  Parish Christmas Cards are now available at the cost of £5 per pack of 10.
Church Calendars are available for £8 each.

6.  St Andrew’s Day – our Patronal Festival will be kept on 29th November with a Sung Eucharist at 11am.  The preacher will be the Dean of Westminster, the Very Revd Dr John Hall.

7.  St Andrew’s School Christmas Craft Fair, Sunday 7th December, 11.00 – 3.30pm. Come and discover a wide range of beautiful gifts handmade by local craftspeople. Christmas refreshments and musical entertainment while you shop! Raffle, children’s crafts and Nativity tableau.

8. St Andrew’s Boat – the boat will be out in church on 30th November and 7th December.  We ask that unwrapped gifts, for all ages, and also toiletries be placed in the boat over the next two Sundays. This will be distributed by the Salvation Army.

9.  Ideas for music at St. Andrew's :
The musical life at St Andrew's Church is embarking on an exciting new phase. We are looking for singers and musicians of all ages, who would like to be part of our new plans.
Under the leadership of Richard Bennett, the Director of Music at St. Andrew's, we are looking to set up 4 new groups :
A Youth Choir
A Church Choir
The St Andrew's Singers
The St Andrew's Players

10. Community Food Bank -  
Donations can be placed in the boxes outside the church room.  Volunteers are needed to take food to Hollow Way on a Tuesday.  Please speak to Fr Darren or a churchwarden.
