NOTICES :

1. WELCOME TO GUESTS AND VISITORS. You are invited to come to the altar rail at Communion time and to receive the Priest’s Blessing even if you have not been confirmed. Just join in with everyone else. We invite young children to join us there also and to receive God’s blessing. Our crèche and Young Church are operating during the 10 am service AND we have toys and play-mats set out in the Church Room for babies and the very-young. Help yourself!

2. WE INVITE VISITORS AND GUESTS IN THE CONGREGATION TO THE CHURCH ROOM FOR REFRESHMENTS after the 10 am Sunday service.

3. The Daily Office of the Church is said Monday-Friday in St Andrew’s Church. All are welcome to come and join in this prayer every day.
Morning Prayer is at 8:30 am
Evening Prayer is at 5:00 pm (but not held on Fridays)

4.  The St Andrew’s Family Service - we're really pleased to announce a new initiative. It will take place on Sunday 15th October at 3.30. The service will be very relaxed, with songs and activities for children to enjoy, and input for adults too. The whole thing will last about 45 minutes, with a children’s tea to follow in the church room. All are welcome and we’d love the St Andrew’s church family to come along and support this regardless of their age. For more information, contact Fr Tim.

5.  Tea on Monday - The next meeting is on 16th October. We meet in the Church Room from 3:00 - 4:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to this social gathering whose aim is to support the more isolated in our community.

6.  Bible Study
Father Tim and Sarah are offering a Bible study at their house in Marston starting on Tuesday 17 October and continuing fortnightly on Tuesday evenings until Christmas, looking at the book of Galatians. Starting at 8 pm, finishing by 9.15 pm. Coffee and cake supplied.  No knowledge required; all are most welcome.  Let Father Tim know if you're interested, or you'd be interested in the study being repeated on a weekday afternoon.

7.  Culture Vultures
Visit to University Church - Wed 25th Oct, meeting at 11 am.
There is a good deal to see, whether your focus is mediaeval, the Reformation, Wesley and Newman, John Radcliffe or even Morse!  If you are interested please sign the list in the tract table.

8.  “Little Fishes” – a pre-school group for children 0-4 years and parents / carers - every Thursday in school term from 9.30 am - 12:00. There is no charge. More information from Natacha Huggett (tel : 01865 769023).

9.  Facebook - if you've not done so already, do find us on Facebook (search "St Andrews, Headington" or visit "www.facebook.com/StAndrewsHeadington"). Once on the page, click "follow". You'll get up-to-date news and photos. Do check it out!

10.  Confirmations 2017
The next confirmation service at St Andrew’s will be on Sunday 19th November at the 10 am service.
Please speak to the Vicar if you are interested in being confirmed.
